 We have just used Swanage Pet Services to pet/house sit, whilst we were away for a long weekend. I can't praise them highly enough! Josey set the whole thing up and arranged initial meetings with Lea, our designated pet carer. Lea has been fantastic. Our dog is a rescue and can be a bit sensitive but she loved Lea and because Swanage Pet Services took the time to understand and discuss her needs, she was a happy dog when we got back. I felt very reassured and didn't feel I had to worry at all whilst we were away. They offer a committed, caring, reliable service and I will happily use them again, in fact they are already booked to look after ours and our daughters dog in June! 

Josey-May has bought such peace of mind to our household since she started walking our boy. Moving to a job out of town meant I couldn’t pop home in my lunch break to take him out and the commute meant his evening walk would be cut short too.
Now our dog is happy, tired (!) and is even learning how to not pull on the lead or bark for the ball! I didn’t think anyone would be able to train this dog!! And knowing he is looked after and happy during our workdays is a huge weight off our mind.
Josey-May is so professional, loves our boy like he’s her own and sends the most adorable photos from their walks.
I couldn’t recommend Josey-May (not forgetting Paul!) enough, we’re so glad to have found her. That our dog now waits by the door for her says it all.

Josey May and Paul looked after our elderly cats for two weeks while we were away. We were treated to daily updates, including photos and videos, which was reassuring and heart warming. 

JM and/or Paul visited twice each day to feed and spend time with the cats and clean out their cat litter. The affection and attention that our cats received was obvious and it was brilliant to know that our kitties were in safe and loving hands. 

JM also watered our plants and must have cleaned up cat puke as we returned home to a puke free house! She also kept in touch during our journey home, in case any delays meant that she needed to make another visit. Kind, warm and thoughtful people.

Paul has been walking Ellie for a while now and she really looks forward to those walks.  Recently Paul did an overnight sit to see how she got on, I had frequent updates and it was obvious she was having the time of her life.

I would highly recommend Swanage Pet Services to anyone who needs either a dog walker or house sitter.

Paul has been walking our dogs weekly for almost a year now and I can highly recommend him and Swanage Pet Services.
Our two Labradors adore him and I hand them over to him with complete trust and knowledge that they are in safe hands, something I would not do lightly. Paul is kind and patient with our dogs.
He has worked on small training issues with them and helped with my reactive dogs continued training and coping mechanisms.
If you are looking for a dog walker or sitter I would look no further, you cannot do better than Swanage Pet Services. 

 The SPS team are wonderful. Josie safely walks our dogs twice weekly. They clearly adore being with her and look forward to their walks.  They have also provided us with home-care while we’ve been away - we can’t fault their attentiveness to our dogs and their use of our home. It’s nice to feel that our home is secure with them being there. I can highly recommend Swanage Pet Services as your source of pet support. 

 We’ve been so lucky to find Paul to walk our stubborn sausage dog. She needed a little training as she’s young and Paul has been fantastic with this and also educating us along the way! Anyone I know who uses Paul and Josey-May to work with their dogs are always happy. We can highly recommend them 

 The dogs love going out with Paul. Very friendly, gives good advise and takes great care of your dogs.

 Josey May looked after our beloved 5yo German Shorthaired Pointer Rusty from 6th - 10th March 2025. 5 stars is not enough! We met Josey and Paul for a couple of walks and to show them Rusty’s routines before going away and we immediately felt reassured they would give him all the love and care he needed. Both Josey and Paul are very knowledgable about all dog breeds and are clearly very passionate about what they do which is so lovely to see.
Rusty is a very energetic but very loving boy who loves his walks, food and lots of attention. He immediately took to Josey and Paul straight away. They spoilt him with fuss, playtime and even gave us some training pointers for which we were very grateful! Josey was very thorough and followed our instructions down to a tee.
Josey was very good at sending lots of updates and photos, this took any stress and worry that dog owners can get when they leave their fur baby away completely. We were able to have a totally stress free holiday and had 100% trust that Rusty had every single one of his needs met to the highest standard.
Swanage Pet Services have absolutely exceeded our (already very good) expectations and will not hesitate to use them again in the future.

 Swanage Pet Services have been absolutely fantastic helping accommodate our two Pugs for a long pet sit over the Easter period. From the moment contact was made communication has been timely, clear and friendly, yet professional.

This was our first time using a company to look after our dogs so naturally we were a little apprehensive, however we need not be. 

Paul and Josie May assigned Lea to look after our dogs for the duration of our holiday who has been absolutely fantastic.

Lea was so very understanding and accepting of both of our Pugs, however one of them even more so as he has additional physical needs which does make him quite challenging to care for. 

Lea sent us daily updates and photos, as well as being extremely responsive any time we got in touch with her. 

When we returned home it was clear the Pugs had bonded well with Lea and loved her company. Lea and her husband also fitted a temporary ramp for the back door to help one of our Pugs (who has limited mobility) get down a step he was struggling with, Such a very kind and thoughtful gesture which we are incredibly grateful for. 

We are so pleased to have found Swanage Pet Services and Lea that we have already got two other pet sits booked in.

 Josey-May was amazing with our french bulldog, Ronnie. He absolutely loved his walks with her. Josey May sent lovely photos and videos whilst he was out for his walkies which was a nice touch. Would highly recommended them and plan on using them again when we next go away! Thanks again 

 Paul looked after our lab, Rex, for 5 days while we went on holiday.
Paul looked after Rex in our own home and I cannot recommend swanage pet services enough.
They gave Rex the love and attention that he craved.
We had daily updates of how well Rex was doing and how much fun he was having. 

It was the 1st time we had left Rex and we were nervous, however we could not have asked for a better pet sitter.
Paul and Josey-May just love the pets they look after.

 Paul did a fabulous job of dog sitting our two. He kept us up to date with photos and text on a daily basis which was wonderful. We would highly recommend both Paul and Josey-May…..so much so - we have booked them again for September.

 Paul recently looked after our 2 cats and 1 dog for one week. He did a great job, and it certainly made for a relaxing holiday receiving daily updates and photos of the boys. As a bonus, the house was spotless when we got back! I would highly recommend Paul for anyone who needs a pet/house sitter. 

 Josey-May looked after our 4 pets and house for a week whilst we were away. She was highly professional throughout and did lots of pre visits to get to know our pets before we left. We loved the regular updates (pictures and videos) and the care she gave our pets was outstanding! We now have a very depressed dog, as she is missing Josey-May! We will definitely be using her services again in the future! Thank you so much! 

  Josey-May was so brilliant looking after our two dogs and a cat whilst we were away on holiday. She took perfect care of them, and our house, sending us loads of updates. We contacted Josey-May prior to our summer holiday this year to Swanage to look after our dog on several occasions whilst we were away. She was very helpful and personable.

We can thoroughly recommend her. She was brilliant with our dog, very reliable and took fabulous care of Bertie. We received lots of updates to reassure us that all was well and how settled he was whilst we were not there.

We will definitely be asking Josey-May to look after Bertie again on our next visit. We only wish she was closer to home!

Josey has recently looked after our slightly unsettled elderly cats who are new to Swanage ( as are we). Friendly, caring and understanding with excellent communication.

 Josey was amazing. We needed someone to care for our dog, Beau, and cat, Ed, on our wedding day/night after being let down at the last minute. Josey had great communication with us from the start and whilst she was caring for them both. she kept our home clean and tidy. Ed and Beau both loved her and she was so reasonably priced too.
